Chance…

Chance came in town for a couple of weeks for Kassidy’s new baby, and the kids had a good time with him!

Nathan and Chance started off the visit with Six Flags and had a great time!

They saw a couple of movies together….

Had lots of meals together….

And I can’t believe that’s all the pics I have!  But they enjoyed seeing him and apparently he’s moving back to Texas in August, so we’re excited!

New job!

Today was Nathan’s first day of his new job at Micron Industries with Dad!  He got the job for him, and I know it’s going to be an amazing opportunity to gain some finance experience!

Family bike ride….

We haven’t had a family bike ride in a long time!  We decided to go today, even though it was super humid and hot outside!  It was fun spending time together.

A little park time to be kids again!

Nathan and Dad raced, and Nathan pretty much stayed up with him (even with running vs biking)!

I love that the kids still want to hang out with us!

Senior Sunday….

Today at church was senior Sunday!  This morning during service, they presented all the seniors and gave them a personalized Bible.  They talked about their memories of the youth group and their plans going forward.  It was a bit emotional!

Then tonight was the senior banquet!

We did not get the memo that everyone was going to be  dressed up (usually these are more casual), and the comedian even chose to make fun of Nathan!  But he was a trooper and didn’t let it bother him!

Nathan got up and gave a little speech about what he will take with him from his youth experience, and he did great.  So proud of him for always getting up and facing his fears!

We ended the night with the slideshows of each senior.  Looking back at his entire life  made me cry, because he grew up so fast.  In the blink of an eye.  It was an emotional day, but a good day!  I love the way our church celebrates these milestones and makes the seniors feel special!

Graduation….

I can’t believe it’s here!  My baby has graduated and I’m not feeling ok about it.  How has my youngest child graduated high school?

They gave them all flowers to put on a chair for Cadence, the girl who passed away back in March.  It really brought tears to my eyes when I saw this.  She was such a precious girl who should’ve been here tonight.

Afterwards, we went to IHOP, and after being ignored for 10 minutes, we left for Whataburger!  It was a fun night, but I’m still trying to mentally digest my baby graduating.

Austin…

Madison took a trip to Austin with her friend, Jennifer.  She had such a great time, and absolutely loves it there!
