New Year’s Eve…

I tell myself every year that this may be the last year the kids celebrate with us, but they still love spending New Year’s as a family and I am super thankful!

First we went to Olive Garden for dinner (our tradition the past several years)!

Then we came home for our annual selfies by the fireplace!

Max wasn’t too excited for the new year!

We did our yearly surveys (this time handwritten because our ink was out)!

We looked through pictures from 2025, played Jack Box, and all made it to midnight!

It was a difficult year, but also a year with many blessings.  Praying for 2026 and all that God has in store for us!  

Another Christmas celebration….

Tonight, we got together with Papa and Mary, and we had a good time!  We ate some yummy turkey and opened gofts!

Christmas…

Today was a very different day for us.  We usually get together with Michael’s side of the family, but Papa and Mary were with her kids.  It was a nice family day for us though, and we had a lot of fun!

We woke up and opened gifts, we made Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast, and talked about our acts of kindness for Jesus!

Madison’s favorite gift - new Kindle because she has really started loving books!

Nathan’s favorite gift - new track shoes for track season coming up!

Then after lunch, we headed to the movies to see The Housemaid.  We all loved it, especially me and Madison since we read the book!

The weather today was definitely not feeling like Christmas, but we enjoyed some sand volleyball in this 80 degree weather!

While it didn’t feel like Christmas, it was still fun spending time with each other and enjoying the day!

Christmas Eve….

Grandma and Grandpa came over for Christmas Eve, and we had a pretty relaxing night of dinner and opening gifts together!  Gaga is in Tennessee with Aunt Traci this year, so it was a smaller crowd tonight.

Max was a little whooped from all the excitement though!

Roof fun….

Madison just learned that our church has a roof you can walk on, and she’s been dying to try it out!  Our awesome youth minister took them up to check out the view.

Shane and Shane concert….

We went to see Shane and Shane tonight and it was a lot of fun!  It definitely put us in the Christmas spirit and was neat seeing them.  Madison had other plans, but she really wanted to see them too!

It even “snowed” inside!

Ladies class….

The ladies class at church got all the college kids together and gave them Christmas presents!  It was very sweet.  They are so encouraging to this group of kids!

Last day of school….

Today was Madison’s last day of school for this semester!  She ended Anatomy 2 with an “A”!  So proud of all the hard work she put in to this class!  She and her friends went out afterwards to celebrate!

 The college group helped with Breakfast with Santa at church this morning!  Madison had so much fun!

Seniors…

The seniors decorated the youth room for Christmas - and this picture makes me a little sad knowing it’s his last year in the youth!

Thanksgiving….

We had a busy, but good Thanksgiving!  Lots of people, good food and a cute baby to add in the fun!
