Nana's annual Rainforest Cafe trip!

Nana takes the kids to Rainforest Cafe every summer. This was Madison's third year to go, and Nathan's first!

A trip anywhere is no fun without some iPhone time for Nathan!

Madison and her butterfly...I think she got the same exact one two years ago!

He wasn't too sure about the gorillas behind us or the elephants in front of us!

And this was the picture I got when I asked him to show me his alligator balloon! Oh the life of a 3 year old.

Bathing her Build-a-bear leopard!

Nana decided the butterfly should be a hat!

Bathing his snake...

They LOVED watching this alligator, and throwing money in! When we ran out, Nathan kept saying, "We need to get more monies!"

This kids had a great time, even though Nathan was a little iffy about this place. It's always funny to watch their faces when the lights start flashing and all the animals start making noises! It's always a fun experience! Thank you, Nana!

Play area, trains, elevators, and escalators!

That's enough to keep three kids occupied for a while...gotta love cheap/free entertainment! We met Jana and Andrew up at Collin Creek to let the kids play, and they had a great time together! And though I didn't get any pictures of the escalators and elevators, it was a big highlight of the day.

This picture didn't turn out well, but Nathan's face cracks me up! He was saying hi to us. :)

Madison had a great time being the "big sister" to these little guys. She absolutely loves helping and taking care of little ones, and they always love her! She's already talking about what she's going to name her 3 kids. :)

Swimming - at night!

With the kids being such "routine" kids, we don't normally do wild and crazy things like swimming at night. :) Even in the summer, the kids go to bed around 8:00 every night....they require a lot of sleep! But we realized the other night that there are only 4 more weeks of summer vacation, so we decided that we needed to let loose and have some fun while we can!

It is a much different experience swimming as the sun is going down, and the kids loved every minute of it.

This has been a really fun summer of swimming with Nathan...he's finally able to swim on his own without me holding him up! Even with his swim thing on, last year he'd drink half the water because he didn't hold up his head. He LOVES water and has absolutely no fear! He will jump in on his own, dunk his head under water, and swim everywhere!

Madison's new obsession in the pool....dive sticks. Before the other day, she had a really hard time swimming on her own. She would mostly doggie paddle, and then get too tired to make it back. I was just thinking that I should've enrolled her in another year of swim lessons....and then....she magically learned to swim with these new dive sticks! She's a fish! She's swimming halfway across the pool, down to the bottom for the sticks, and back on her own. I don't know what happened, but it finally clicked for her.

Crazy hair...

I love making these family memories! We need to get out of our routine and do it more often! I love seeing my kids so happy and enjoying life so much!

A week full of cousin fun!

Lacey and Cody came to visit for a whole week (just them....mom and dad stayed home!). The kids were so excited to see each other! They played, ate ice cream, dressed up, went swimming, played at McDonald's, and a lot more! These are just my favorites from the week...

Notice the wagon "hat"...

Playing horsey (on Doo!)...

Playing "puppy"...

I love how they can see each other only a couple times a year, but then pick right back up where they left off! These kids adore each other, and had SO much fun together. It was a wonderful week, and I loved seeing them all so happy.
