Halloween 2023…

At work, Madison and Caris were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (because apparently that is THE costume these days)!  Madison made her own shirt and worked sooo hard on it!

And Max….same ol’ cowboy as last year!

Nathan wasn’t going to go trick-or-treating this year, but decided last minute to dress up as the same cowboy/donkey and meet up with his friend, Kenneth!  Meanwhile, Madison and Caris went to Michael’s and got supplies to paint.

The kids both had a fun night.  And Max had fun getting all the attention every time he went to the door to help dad hand out candy!

Breakfast….

Madison and Nathan have the best relationship and I just love it!  They don’t see each other a ton these days, so they have been getting together for Saturday breakfast on occasion.  Love these two so much!

Dutch Bros…

Madison went and served hot chocolate and handed out candy at a school function today!  She had a good time.

Funny…

Funniest picture EVER.  At Dutch Bros, when it’s raining and you’re outside taking orders, they make you wear this!  We laughed so hard when Madison sent us this picture…even guests were laughing at her!

Adventures with Caris…

Madison has really gotten close with her friend, Caris.  They are two peas in a pod and enjoy each other’s silliness so much!  They both love to shop, visit pretty parks, and of course TAKE PICTURES!

Church

Madison has been visiting some new churches with her friends lately, and while I miss her coming with us, I know it’s for her best.  She needs to find her own way and meet new people her own age!  Praying wherever she ends up is where God wants her.

Taylor Swift...

Madison LOVES Taylor Swift and was really bummed that she couldn't make it to the concert when she came to Dallas back in March.  She was really happy to hear about the concert being shown at the movie theater and bought tickets right away.  She and Jheel went tonight and had a lot of fun!

Dutch Bros...

At first, Madison didn't love working at Dutch Bros, but she's really grown to love it!  She's learned SO much and has done such a great job learning everything.  And she's met a new best friend (Karis) and loves working with her!  They seem to have the same personality and they connected really quick.

Texas State...

Madison went to visit Ceana this weekend at Texas State, and had a lot of fun!  I was a little nervous about her driving 4 hours by herself, but she did great.  She was excited to be with Ceana again and loved every minute (except for the uncomfortable beds and noise in the dorms)!  They walked around campus, went out to eat, shopped, went to church, and just caught up on all their missed talking the past month!

Connect...

Connect has started up again, and we hosted the first one.  It was a good turn-out tonight!
