LTC Awards

Tonight was LTC awards night, and Nathan was able to give his speech to the whole church.  He did great!

For chorus, they actually got a gold!  We were all surprised, but the judge said they kept going and didn’t give up and that showed a lot.  And the other two songs they performed well!

Nathan got a silver in Bible Bowl and a gold in speech!

LTC is a big time commitment, and I’m so proud of Nathan for everything he did.  With work, school, track and everything, he still made time for this!  He learned a lot and had some fun too.

Kendrick Lamar

Nathan went to his first concert tonight - Kendrick Lamar!  He had a great time and was shocked at how loud the music was!

Easter…

First, we went and picked up Gaga so she could come over for dinner and celebrate Easter with us.  We had to put her walker in the back because it wouldn’t fit in my trunk, and Nathan looked so funny all crammed back there with it!

The kids STILL want to do an egg hunt and are super competitive!

We also made resurrection rolls, which they love and now can make by themselves.

We ended the day reading through our resurrection eggs and talking about the true meaning of Easter.  We had a great day!

Sweet friends from church!

LTC Speech and Chorus

Nathan usually just participates in LTC Bible Bowl along with the service challenge at home, but this year he decided to do speech and chorus as well!

Madison took off work to be there for Nathan today!

This was his first year doing speech, and he did so great!  I was so proud of him!

All the kids are attached to Madison and love her so much!

They also had a highschool chorus group, and they did pretty good!  It was a little rough during one song because one of the guys sang a different part than he should have and the song was completely off.  They were all trying to hold it together and not laugh!  But regardless, getting up there isn’t easy and I’m proud of them for trying and practicing so much together!

It was a busy, but good day seeing so many people in one place with a love for God and a desire to learn and lead for Him!

LTC - Bible Bowl

Tonight was LTC Bible Bowl for Nathan, and even though Madison has aged out, she wanted to come and support Nathan (and have fun with the little kids too)!

They both had a good time.  Headed home for a bit and then back up here in the morning for more! 

Ladies class….

The ladies class at church was SO sweet and did something special for these college kids!  They all got together and gave them a surprise at church to encourage them.  They are always happy to see the dedication these kids have and wanted to show them that they encourage their group as well!

Tonight was Nathan’s first time leading singing at church!  He did a great job.
