Play-a-thon...

Nathan had a band play-a-thon tonight, and it ended up being perfect weather for it!  It was also a really pretty sunset to watch as well.  Warren, our youth minister, showed up for it too!

Friend time...

Madison went shopping with Makenna today at Watter's Creek and had so much fun!  They went to her favorite store of all-time (at least current favorite) Altar'd State.  She loves this place and could literally spend all day shopping in this one store!

Busy Thursday night...

Tonight, both kids had plans at the same time.  Thanks to Gaga, Nathan was able to eat a yummy spaghetti dinner (his favorite of Gaga's cooking) and then to track for his time trials!  His coach apparently calls him Big Nate!  He did a 400m in 60 seconds - only 2 seconds off from his last time!

Meanwhile, Madison had a football game and wanted us to come watch her march over to the stadium!  It's her last year, and we are trying to soak it all up.  Seeing her face light up when she saw us made me cry!  But I'm also crying a lot these days with senior stuff...only a little over a month left for marching band.  Four years flew by so fast!

Instagram famous!

Madison made it to the Chick-fil-A Instagram page!  She's officially famous now!

Hawaiian day!

It was Hawaiian day today at school for football Tuesday!  We found this picture on Facebook - I love finding pictures of the kids at school.

Carnival fun!

My busy girl always has plans, and loves being around her friends!  Tonight, she went to a carnival at Ruthie's church, and had a lot of fun.  Rides, corn dogs, crazy mirrors, laughing....she loved it all!

Dinner at Texas...

Tonight, we had dinner plans with Papa and Mary, Kay's family, and Mary's son and daughter-in-law.  We went to the restaurant Texas, and it was really good.  Madison already made plans for the night, so she wasn't with us, but Nathan and Chance had each other to keep entertained!

Chance!

After five months of traveling for Chance, his family made it back home for a couple of months.  We had him over for a sleepover, and they had a lot of fun!  The boys have definitely missed seeing each other.

Future Pirate Night...

Tonight was Future Pirate Night for Nathan!  This was the only time my two kids will ever perform together.  Sad, but it was also really neat!  All of these pictures except the last one were taken by someone from the school.  They ate dinner with their sections, and as I always used to say, Nathan is quite the ladies man!  Haha!

They ran onto the field to play, and Madison said that as he passed her and noticed where she was, he smiled really big.  My babies!  I can't believe Madison is a senior and almost done with all of this, and Nathan is just beginning.
