Swimming...and another sleepover!

We spent the day swimming at Nana and Papa's with Chance today, and then they both stayed to spend the night over there.  Busy and fun weekend for Nathan!

Sleepover....

Nathan went over to Matias' house for a sleepover last night...they had a lot of fun playing video games together!

A friend reunion...

We had some friends from our old church that moved away to South Carolina (Evalie and Zachary), and we haven't seen them in a year and a half.  They were in town, so we met up for some jumping at Urban Air and lunch!

The kids had a blast together!  I sure wish they still lived here, but we definitely enjoyed getting together and seeing them again.  I asked if the kids had a good time after we left, and Nathan said, "It was AWESOME!"

Take me out to the ball game...

Madison went to a Rough Riders baseball game tonight with the youth group at church, and she had so much fun!  Lots of food, sodas, cotton candy, and friends....it was a good night!

Water, friends, and fun!

We invited Madison's friend, Ally, and Nathan's friend, Casey to go to the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium today.  They have diving boards, swim lanes for lap swimming, a lazy river, a slide, and a big fort for the kids!  It's all indoor, so we didn't have to worry about sunscreen.

We had twins with the same swim trunks and shirt!

They all got along, and had so much fun together!

Shaving cream fun....

The kids wanted to play with shaving cream today, and they had fun until the crazy wind blew Nathan's halfway across the yard.  We might just get a little more adventurous next time with 2 bottles of shaving cream and 2 kids eager to drench each other!

Urban Air...

We went to Urban Air today, and the kids played for almost 3 hours straight (with only a couple minor arguments)!  They had a good time.

Father's Day...

Last night, we had Grandma and Grandpa over for Father's Day.

Today, we went to church and then headed over to Nana and Papa's house for lunch and swimming!

It was a busy, but good weekend.  These kids are lucky to have such a wonderful dad who loves them so much!

Trying to replicate...

We were looking through some old Pensacola pictures while we were waiting for our meal one afternoon, and I showed the kids how sweet they used to be together!  I told them to replicate this picture, and this is what we got!  Not quite the same, but these two sure have grown though!

Pensacola Beach...

We look forward to this week every year!  So many years we think about changing it up and trying somewhere new, but we just can't.  Pensacola is our home away from home.  As we crossed the bay bridge, Nathan said, "I feel like we're home now"!

At Crabs, it was raining with the sun shining.  We looked around and saw this beautiful rainbow!

The kids loved the hammock downstairs at our condo!  It was a favorite place to read and relax for both of them.

Our annual Flounders chair pictures!

It was raining on our Boardwalk night....but we didn't let it stop us!  The kids love this night, mainly for the ice cream!

I've taken this same picture almost every year.  It was funny at first seeing the man falling down this tube....now it's just tradition!

This was Nathan's first time to try crab legs.  He said, "It's not my favorite, but I'm also not gagging either."  Madison is the one with the expensive taste!

Our self-taken family photo didn't turn out all that great, but at least we have it!

We only went swimming a few times...because it was usually cloudy and/or raining and cold in the water!  I looked over and saw them hugging to warm up.  It was a sweet moment - one that I don't normally see!

Our footprints are starting to look the same.  That means my babies are growing up!

We had a great time together.  Even though it rained more this trip than any other, and we were stuck inside playing games a lot, we still had fun.  Just being together, all four of us, is what I love!  We are so blessed that we have been able to make these memories....it's a special place to us!
