New Year’s Eve!

We started our night with dinner at Olive Garden!

Then home for our traditional selfies!

We did our annual surveys, looked at pictures from the year and watched a Nate Bargatze comedy show!  Our countdown was anti-climactic because the shows on tv don’t count down for our time zone anymore, so I’m not sure it was too accurate!  We made it to midnight though, and then headed off to bed.

This year has been full of ups and downs.  Madison turned 20, we had our annual beach vacation in Pensacola, the kids went on a mission trip to Jamaica, Nathan turned 17, Madison had her wisdom teeth removed, and we took a quick getaway trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma!  We also, for the most part, went vegetarian starting in April, and Michael really turned his health around (so so proud of him)!  There were a lot of job struggles between all of us, health issues with Gaga, but overall, we had a good year and we made a lot of good memories.  Looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store for all of us!

Christmas!

Christmas morning, we opened gifts, had Mickey waffles and talked about all our good deeds for Jesus over the year!  Christmas is about Jesus, and we want to install a giving and serving life in our kids!  That is most important to us….knowing our kids live for Him and share His love with others.  They both used their own money for gifts again this year, and each said they were more excited to give to us than they were to receive their gifts! 

Favorite gifts were shoes!  And of course, the MANY goldfish Madison got!

Madison gave us all paintings with our favorite verses…she is so talented!

Later in the day, Papa and Mary came over for dinner, gifts and games!

It was a great day.  I am so thankful for family and all of our blessings!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Eve….

We had a great night tonight with Gaga, Grandma and Grandpa!  Dinner, dessert, gifts and lots of laughter trying to get a selfie!

Surgery….

Poor Max had surgery on his eye yesterday, and he’s just a pitiful little guy with his cone!  He’s ready to get this off for sure!

Youth party….

Nathan had his youth Christmas party today.  They had Panda Express, did a gift exchange and then went to Top Golf!  Madison helped out with the party, and I saw a group picture of her but not Nathan.  Madison did, however, get one picture of him golfing!  They had a good time though!

Connect….

We hosted Connect tonight!  All the adults were either out of town or sick, so it was just us with all these kids!  We survived though, and managed to get through it.  The kids all had a great time!
