New Year's Eve...

We started off today by helping our church unload a HUGE 18-wheeler FULL of relief supplies for those who were affected in the tornadoes.  We were all pretty whooped, especially daddy who lifted/bent down for a full hour and a half straight.  Then, we came home and took down lights and Christmas decorations.  So, needless to say, we were tired and a bit worried we wouldn't make it until midnight tonight (mommy and daddy would've been fine going to sleep, but the kids were so excited to stay up)!

We met Gaga and Doo for dinner at Silverfox, and that's always a treat!

Then, we came home and decorated a huge Rice Krispie treat!

We decided to take our own family pic, and had fun laughing at mommy run back and get in place for the picture every time!  We watched our home videos for 2015, drank some sparkling grape juice, and actually made it until midnight (except for daddy who fell asleep at 11:45)!

Year in reviews....makes me a little sad that their hardest thing this year was getting along with each other.  Hopefully 2016 will bring some change in that area!  But I love Madison's comment about growing closer to Jesus and her goal for getting baptized.  She sure is growing up.

2015 was a wonderful year.  Madison turned 11, we went to Pensacola Beach for our family vacation, Nathan turned 8, Madison started playing the clarinet in band, Nathan started getting grades at school, the kids had a fun weekend with daddy while I had some quality time with Gaga at Women of Joy, we were able to go to Disney World again this year with the entire family, we had a lot of family movie nights/sleepovers, lots of laughter and we made some great memories together.  I think we all grew spiritually this year, and I pray that 2016 brings even more growth.  I thank God every day for my sweet family, and for the wonderful memories He allows us to make together.  I'm so thankful, and feel so blessed!  Happy New Year!

Bounce fun!

We met up with Matias and Alex today to get some energy out, and they had SO much fun!  Over 2 hours of non-stop playing, and we still had to drag them out of there!

Last day with Lacey and Cody...

Lacey and Cody are headed back to Tennessee tomorrow morning, so today was their last day to see each other.  We were going to get a few pictures of the kids together, and remembered at the last minute when it was already getting dark!  Not the best quality, but still cute.  They had a fun time together, and will miss each other!

A lazy day...

Today, we just stayed inside and enjoyed the warmth since it turned so cold outside!  The kids played games, did some crafts, ate some yummy snacks and just had fun.

They made little snowman snacks with marshmallows!

Then they played a game where they had to draw a winter scene with the plate on top of their head.

They thought it was pretty funny how their drawings turned out!

They also made ornaments, but I never got a picture of the finished product because they took so long to bake and I forgot.  They had a fun day together!

Big storms...

Tonight while we were playing with Lacey and Cody, some bad weather came through.  Several tornadoes were spotted, so we took cover in the shower!  Luckily, our area wasn't touched, but several people were affected by this storm...so sad and so scary.

You can't tell in this picture, but we were eating dinner by flashlight/candlelight because the electricity went out the minute we sat down.  The kids thought this was pretty cool!

Clover...

Well, Clover had more fun this year, and we enjoyed seeing everything he did!

One night, Nathan had a little accident with markers and the curtains (thank goodness it came out), but I think Clover was trying to make a joke out of it and act like he was doing the same thing!

I didn't get a picture of the mess he made, but toilet paper was all down the hallway (from the bathroom to the front door).  Guess he was having fun rolling along!

He asks for cookies, and we make them!

Guess he wanted some Olaf pancakes!

Silly Clover....Ho Ho Ho, who needs to go?  And then a toilet paper snowman!

We found a note from Clover this morning.  We will sure miss him, and can't wait to see him next year!
