The Porch...

Madison has been going to The Porch every Tuesday night, and she LOVES it.  It's a night of music and a Bible lesson for young adults.  A lot of her friends have started going too, and she gets so much out of it.  I love that she's found this outlet and has a desire to learn more about God!

Mi Cocina...

Madison texted me during preschool today....pictures of her and Jen (a new friend she met from Chick-fil-A) eating at Mi Cocina.  My favorite place ever.  I was a little jealous, but happy that she's having a good time with her friends!

Chick-fil-A Scholarship!

Madison was surprised tonight at work by being chosen for one of the three college scholarships for Chick-fil-A!  She was very excited!  The operator came by to surprise her with everything (she got a shirt, a cookie, a keychain, and some other stuff along with the actual scholarship)!

And she was even featured on Instagram!

Also, this has nothing to do with the scholarship, but she was also featured on Instagram with the Chick-fil-A cow!  My girl is famous.  :)

So proud of Madison and all of her hard work!  She gives Chick-fil-A her all, and she loves it so much.

Easter!

We started off the morning with church, and it was a really weird morning and not the best experience we've had on Easter.  Anyway, Gaga came over later and we read through our resurrection eggs, had yummy ham, made resurrection rolls, and hid Easter eggs!  Not many pictures, but it was a fun night.  I love that the kids still like hunting for eggs (probably because of the money and candy)!  We had a lot of laughs with Gaga and our day ended much better than it started!

District meet...

Last track meet for the season!  Nathan got 3rd place in district for the 400m!  He ran a little slower tonight with 55.75 seconds, but it was really windy and he just had a meet last night so he had no time to recover.  He will get a medal for 3rd place, and was pretty pumped about that.  I'm happy that he did so well this season, but even more happy that he was able to ease back into it after so many injuries and so many months of resting.  He did great and I'm so proud of him!

District qualifier...

Nathan ran the 400m relay and his group got 2nd place at 3:51:43.  He also ran the 400m and got 5th place at 54.43 seconds!  His best yet...he was beyond happy!
