Halloween!

Nathan invited the same group over as last year (Matias, Nicholas, and Casey)!  We had hot dogs for dinner and then headed out to trick-or-treat in our new neighborhood.  We had a fun group of yummy food!

Madison decided to pick up a friend (Kuhu) and walk around scaring people!  Two years ago, she had a ton of homework.  Last year she had a football game.  So this was her first year in a while to be free!

As they were walking around, she saw two of her band friends!

Tonight is a time change, a blue moon, Halloween, AND 2020.  2020 deserves its own category now!  It was a fun night and perfect weather for being outside.  Both kids had a good time with their friends!

Friday night fun!

Madison invited Maddie over tonight for a movie night.  They went to Walmart to get snacks, set up a cozy little area in the back of the Pathfinder (complete with lights!), and watched Enchanted together with Max!  They had a fun night!

Meanwhile, Nathan was over at Matias' house for his birthday sleepover.  They had Panda Express (his FAVORITE), played JackBox, and just had a great time together!

Nathan just had a big growth spurt, and he's still a head shorter than Matias!  Although his dad is 6'6", so he'll probably never catch up to him!  It's just so sweet they've been friends for so long!

First performance of junior year!

We finally got to see Madison perform tonight!  It was beautiful weather, and our youth minister (Warren) was able to come and see her as well!  They did a great job and it was awesome seeing them perform again - it's been a while since last marching season!  Madison had the best night and had so much fun!

A day off school!

The kids were very excited about "fair day" even though there is no fair!  Sleeping in and getting together with friends is what they both live for now.

While Madison went shopping and out to lunch with her friend, Maddie (no pics), Nathan had Matias over to play!  These boys love their video games!

They both had a good day and enjoyed the time off school!

I wanted to be able to look back on this someday, and forgot to post these pictures that I took a while back!  It's hard photographing different rooms and trying to get most of it in the picture, and it's also cell phone quality, but here's an idea.  Our new house....

I finally have a patio, with a table and fun lights.  I've always dreamed of this!

We are happy here, and I guess it was worth moving twice for this!  After 17 years in our old house, sometimes it feels really weird being somewhere else.  But we love the house AND the neighborhood!
