After Chance's birthday party, the kids finally learned the basics of skating! They've been wanting to go a lot so they can practice, and they're both getting so much better. We skated for two and a half hours today! I'm so proud that (at 13 and almost 10), they can now skate. Erase one "x" from the list of parenting failures!

Swim fun!
Graysen invited Nathan over today to swim, and they had a lot of fun! They swam for over 3 hours, played tag, and lots of other boy stuff! Nathan had a fun afternoon.
Farewell....
The day I've dreaded forever has finally come...I had to say goodbye to the only dentist I've ever known (and my kids too)! I started seeing him when I was 3, so it's been a long time. He's mid-70's, so it's long overdue for him, but I'm still sad. Who knew it would be so hard to say goodbye to your dentist? He had a farewell reception this morning, and I managed to survive even through all my tears. I will miss Dr. Clayton and Gloria so much!

Another party!
Madison went straight from the Great Wolf Lodge to another party (she came home to eat and literally walked right back out the door)! Kinsey had a couple girls over to swim and watch movies for her birthday, and they had a blast. Lots of fun the past two days for Madison!
Great Wolf Lodge...
Madison went to a birthday party at the Great Wolf Lodge last night, and she had a blast! They rode rides, ate pizza, and played Magic Quest all night. It was a great group of girls, and they had so much fun together.

Class reunion...
Nathan's teacher wanted to have a little reunion this summer, and she scheduled a get together for today at Yogurt Cup! Not everyone showed up, but it was a good group and Nathan had fun!
We found out Ms. Rios won't be coming back next year, so we were really sad to say goodbye for good! We'll miss seeing her around, but we're grateful that we were able to have her as a teacher.

Minecraft party...
Nathan went to a birthday party for his friend, Nicholas, tonight. They played Minecraft, ate pizza, and had a lot of fun! Funny thing, all the friends were named Nathan (even Nicholas' brother)!

Father's Day...
Today was a really busy day, but it's nice to be able to celebrate all the dads in our lives! We went to church, and then headed over to Nana and Papa's house for lunch and swimming. Then we came home and got ready for Grandma and Grandpa to come over for dinner.
I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful husband...he's the best father ever and our kids are so lucky. He's a hard worker, he's always there for us, he adds so much laughter to our home, and he is a wonderful Christian leader. I'm so thankful for him, and so are the kids! We love him a ton!

Chance's bday party!
Chance turns 8, and the kids finally learned how to roller skate! We still need more practice, but the night wasn't a total bust. They had fun!
Pensacola Beach...
Our home away from home....and we're finally back! We've been counting down the days and we were super excited to get there.
Lunch at Crabs...our favorite restaurant! They love the beignets here.
We played Speak Out several times...the kids thought this game was pretty funny!
Lunch at Shaggy's...
Back to Crabs....we go at least two times because we love it so much!
We headed to the Boardwalk Monday night...this car has been here since we came in 2006!
A LOT of our trip consisted of this....rain, rain and more rain. It's a bummer being at the beach with rain because there's nothing else to do!
A lot of days (except for the last day) it finally cleared up late afternoon, so we at least got part of the day at the beach!
We went parasailing again, and the kids had a blast!
Madison and I went up with sun....Michael and Nathan went up with rain! It was quite the experience riding in a boat while it's raining! After that, we headed over the souvenir shop and then to Flounders for lunch.
We had night swimming scheduled and stayed down at the bay awhile. The kids always love this night.
I was trying to set up the camera for the self timer, and my goofy family decided to be silly!
My babies are getting too big. Our last lunch at Crab's....and they just looked so grown up!
Even though we had a lot of rain, I still loved our family time! I love making these memories, and I'm so thankful we were able to go again this year. We all love the beach and have so much fun! It's always so nice to have this time with daddy...just for all of us to relax and enjoy each other. I could've used more sun this trip, but it was still good and we made more happy memories!
